After the success of the 2017 – 18 school year, California charter school students should be especially excited about going #BacktoSchool.  

Charter public schools dominated the U.S. News & World Report's annual rankings of the best public high schools in Californiaand over 20 charter public schools received awards and accolades from the California Department of Education. It was yet another demonstration of how charters are helping students from all backgrounds unlock their full potential.

  1. Majority of California's Top 10 High Schools are Charter Public Schools: Did you know that 7 out of the top 10 high schools are charter schools? That’s right!
  2. California Charter Management Organizations (CMOs) Honored in 2018 U. S. News & World Report Best High School Listing: 15 Alliance College-Ready Public Schools high schools and seven Green Dot Public High Schools were awarded medals and recognized amongst the best in the nation.
  3. 21 California Charter Public Elementary Schools Named a 2018 California Distinguished School: Preparing for college starts before high school and these 21 schools are  getting recognized for putting their students on a path to success.
